Roots of Tyranny

Welcome to Protopart. This once-beautiful world has been taken over by a floating plant city known as Veggydoom, which has attached big branches to the earth, parasitizing the planet. The inhabitants have fled and sent you, the hero, on a mission to remove these branches and save the world. Armed with a time-rewinding gun, you have the power to make time go back for objects, but this power comes at a cost. The rare crystals needed to use the gun are scattered across the earth, and you must collect them to make the roots disappear. Use your time-rewinding gun to weaken the roots and make them smaller until they turn into little branches. But be careful, as the roots will grow back if you stop using the gun on them. You must act quickly and strategically, as the roots are deeply embedded in the earth and it will take a lot of time and effort to fully remove them.
